Malaysia-Singapore Tour Program

Day 1

Arrival in KL. Transfer to MOV hotel. Free time.

Day 2

Meet the guide at the hotel at 9:00 am
9:00 - 13:30

Tour of KL with a visit to the Sultan’s Palace:

  1. The old palace of the Sultan – Istana Negara. (unaccompanied by a guide). The museum exhibition in the newly opened to the public in the Old Sultan’s Palace will introduce you to the style and lifestyle of the Supreme Sultans of Malaysia. You will see the reception halls, bedchambers, dining rooms and bathrooms.
  2. China Town (Chinese Temple, Indian Maha Mariamman Temple, First Market Square, the confluence of two rivers, Masjid Jemek Mosque and Central Market)
  3. Tian Hou Chinese Temple on a mountain with a turtle pond. Thean Hou Temple is a Kuala Lumpur landmark that all Malaysia travel guides should put on their “must visit” list
  4. Brickfields Indian Neighborhood (Little India)
  5. National Mosque, Old Railway Station and Railway Board Building.
  6. Sultan’s Palace. Parade gate, photo with the Guardsmen.
  7. Dataran Merdeka Independence Square (Sultan Abdul Samad Palace, Royal Selangor Club, former office of Petronas – who built the twin towers, the main 100 meter flag of Malaysia, City Theater building, St. Mary’s Church, Library and Gallery, Victorian Fountain).
  8. Petronas photo op site and the Business District of the city.
  9. The seventh tallest TV Tower in the world – Menara KL TV Tower

Lunch at Kuala Lumpur’s iconic restaurant at an altitude of 282 meters.

Visit to Kuala Lumpur Bird Park. Kuala Lumpur Bird Park, established in 1991, is the world’s largest outdoor aviary, covering an area of over 8 hectares (20.9 acres)

Day 3

Tour to the city of Putrajaya – the new administrative center of Malaysia. It is located 20 km south of the capital Kuala Lumpur. It was founded on October 19, 1995.
  1. Observation deck on the bridge overlooking the Prime Minister’s Palace
  2. Masjid Putra Mosque (Pink Mosque)
  3. Selangor Sultan’s Residence – view of the residence
  4. Putrajaya main square.

Batu Caves and Ramayana Caves. The Batu Caves are limestone caves that are approximately 400 million years old, with a temple complex inside the caves. The Ramayana cave shows events from the eponymous ancient Indian epic about the life of Rama, one of the incarnations of the god Vishnu.

Kuala Selangor (langur monkeys) Taman Melawati – hill with tame langur monkeys

20:00 - 22:00

Kuantan village on the banks of the Selangor River – Boat cruise on the river, a colony of synchronized flashing fireflies

Day 4

Historic Malacca Tour. Malacca is a historical city that preserves the amazing architecture of the Portuguese colonizers who ruled here for more than a century.
  1. Stadhuys Town Hall, a complex of pink and red Dutch administrative buildings
  2. St Paul’s Church
  3. Fort, A’Famosa or Porta de Santiago
  4. Indepedence Monument
  5. A walk through Chinatown with a tour of the Street of Tolerance, where there are religious buildings of five religions – Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism.
  6. Malacca History Museum of the Sultan period
  7. Lunch in one of Malacca’s restaurants
  8. River cruise on the Melakka River to see the city from the water

Departure from Malacca. Transfer to Singapore with a local English speaking guide.

Singapore. Check-in at Mi Hotel.

Day 5

Singapore (Malay. Pulau Ujong (“island at the tip of the peninsula”) is the main island of the state of Singapore. City sightseeing tour. Singapore is a megalopolis built in compliance with all canons of Feng Shui teachings.

Evening Singapore
  1. Walking through Fort Canning to the waterfront, that evening walk takes us back to 14th century Singapore. Today it is a green oasis in the center of the city, but the functions and meanings of this place have changed over the centuries. We’ll learn what was here in ancient Singapore, how Fort Canning changed during the colonial period, and see the many historic sites that have survived to this day. (walk about 1 hour)

Day 7
